  3. Wow. Out of all the pictures I see of children adopted from EE, Julia's transformation is one of the most remarkable - GO Julia !!!

  4. She has made such a remarkable transformation. It is truly amazing and inspiring. Did you ever receive an official diagnosis for her? I know that it is not the CS as originally suspected (which is such a relief to know that she is not dying so prematurely!) it's amazing to me to think that they probably diagnosed or assumed as such about her purely because the emotional, physical and nutritional neglect she suffered was aging and ailing her! LOOK AT HER NOW!! GO GIRL!!

    1. Yes, she does not have CS. When they did the chromosome study, she was found to have several balanced and unbalanced translocations. The only deletion they could find a "diagnosis" for is 5q14.3 deletion sydrome. But since she has other abnormalities, this is not a complete diagnosis. So they basically said she falls under "unique chromosomal abnormalities." And we just continue to treat her symptomatically and watch and see what she can do! She is amazing us all the time : )

  5. It is hard to put in words how AWESOME it is to see sweet Julia standing and thriving so wonderfully--as is Aaron! These precious lives have been transformed by God--and by their family's love! Julia looks like a completely different child from the sad little bundle you rescued!
