11th and 12th Visits

So happy to see us!

She loves reaching for our faces now : )

Check out these acrobats!  She arches her back completely off the ground so that she balances on just her head and feet....amazing!

Looks like Aaron is a leftie : )

We went out on a patio where there was more sunlight....the photosensitivity of Cockayne Syndrome is apparent in this picture.

Checking out daddy's scruff!

Julia almost on all fours.  Strong little girl!

  6. Adeye...Valentin's driving cracks me up! We love it :) It's a bit crazy, but the way he maneuvers around takes skill. Their son, Edward, drove us the first couple of days and it was almost just as fun...but Edward doesn't have the lights and sirens to get people to move out of the way!!

  7. I can't tell you how much I love to see these pictures and Julia's smile. Seeing her in the arms of her mother...well it is enough joy for a lifetime. I adore seeing Aaron and Julia and sit here praising God for all he has created for his glory!! Julia is a FIGHTER and I don't know if you can see it but there is LIGHT in her eyes now. She is Joy. Filled with and surrounded by Joy. What a strong little girl who has been waiting all this time to be loved. And little Aaron...oh my I could put him in my pocket and take him home! What a smart, cutie pie. His smile has grown bigger and brighter with every visit. You guys are going to have so much fun with all of the children together.

  8. Hi! I've followed your story from the beginning and can't believe what progress those sweet babies are making already! Can't wait to see what they do when they get home!! In Sept. 09 we stayed in that same apt. and Tatiana also helped us out. She was fabulous and we believe we'd probably still be over there if she hadn't intervened and worked her magic! Please tell her that Mike & Martha Evans say hello!
