We're adopting again!!

We have been waiting to share this exciting news, but were asked by Reece's Rainbow to wait until they set up our FSP (although she was moved to My Family Found Me last week).  It was listed just this afternoon.  You can look at it by clicking here.  I am itching to write more, but we have a busy evening planned where our church is offering babysitting while parents go out on a "date night."  So I promise to give much more in the next few days, but we have been anxious to share this news that has been unfolding ever since I advocated for Valentin.   Her name is Marina and she is from the same orphanage as Julia and Aaron.  I have actually met her and played with her.  Her picture on RR is very outdated, so I am putting up two more pictures of her.  The first one below is from when I met her back in April of 2011 and the other one is a picture that Tatiana, our facilitator/lawyer from her region took just after Christmas.

  1. We are so excited for you! I was really hoping we would be able to travel about the same time, how cool would that be to finally get to meet over there :) Maybe when we go for Valentin we can meet Marina and give her big hugs and kisses and tell her that her mom and dad are coming :)

  14. Good morning everyone! I need to ask that you please not mention the country we are adopting from when you leave comments. I know many of you already know and it is obvious since we are adopting from the same orphanage again, but we are asked not to write about the country or region until after court to protect the child, so I assume this means the comments as well. So if you left a comment and see that it has been deleted, know that I appreciated the kind words and support and only deleted it in the best interest of Marina. Thank you and have a fabulous day : )
